Telemetry recording system for measuring of gastrointestinal contractile activity in unrestrained animal(macaques, dogs)
Measurement of gastrointestinal contractile activity is easily affected by experimental conditions such as anesthesia and stress.
Therefore, measurement should be performed in conscious and unrestrained state. Gastrointestinal contractile activity in conscious and unrestrained animal (macaques, dogs) can be observed in real time and the effects of drugs can be evaluated by force transducers installed on gastrointestinal tract and analysis equipment receiving the signal of gastrointestinal contractile activity.
Installing multiple transducers at different sites in the gastrointestinal tract enables simultaneous measurement of contractile activity in multiple regions.
Contractile activity of dog stomach, jejunum and colon.
